Beyonce's father denies stealing from her

NEW YORK - MATTHEW Knowles insists he still has an amicable relationship with his daughter Beyonce - even though she dumped him as her manager two months ago - but is alleging that people close to her have tried to destroy his reputation with allegations that he stole from her.

Knowles filed papers in a Texas court this week alleging that members of Beyonce's camp, which he says includes her label, Columbia Records, Live Nation and her superstar husband Jay-Z's Roc Nation, have made negative comments about him.

'We absolutely have not taken any money from Beyonce, and all dollars will be accounted for,' he said on Thursday. 'In no way have we stole money. Again, this about the people who have made these claims - they have to come into the light.'

Knowles guided his daughter's career since she was a child, first to superstardom as part of the group Destiny's Child, and then as she continued with her blockbuster solo career. Beyonce has sold millions of records, won numerous Grammys, is a lucrative spokesman for different products, and has also had considerable success in film with movies like the Oscar-winning Dreamgirls.

When Beyonce announced in May that she would no longer use her father to guide her career, she stressed that at almost 30, she was ready to take control of her own affairs and pledged her adoration for him.

Critics applauded the move, comparing it to Janet Jackson's decision to fire her father as her manager in 1986. That decision led to the production of Jackson's aptly titled breakthrough album, Control, which sold over 10 million copies worldwide. -- CHINA DAILY/ANN

London, Mar 2 – Singer Beyonce Knowles insists she has no regrets over her steamy perfume commercial, which was deemed unsuitable for television.

But the ‘Crazy in Love’ hitmaker admits that she found the furore over the video “funny”.

The steamy clip for Beyonce’s Heat fragrance, which features the singer lying in a bathtub and seductively stroking her chest, was banned by officials at the Advertising Standards Authority in November (10), reports the Daily Star.


If celebrities sometimes get their names in the papers for things that are not entirely related to their careers, like the universally infamous 'wardrobe malfunctions', Beyonce is today at the center of attention for a 'hair malfunction'.
In addition to the rumor that circulated a couple of days ago that the bootylicious singer is a liar for saying she is 25, when in fact she just turned 32, people are now scandalized for seeing that not even Beyonce's hair is for real.
I say: oh, come on! Of course she has hair extensions but can you tell me of someone who doesn't have? The nasty part for Beyonce is that the fact that she's wearing a weave showed on camera, while she was performing live. I imagine that her stylist must be now in tons of s**t for not sticking that thing better to her forehead.

She told Cosmopolitan magazine, “I wasn’t annoyed, I thought it was funny. Personally, I don’t think my ad was any more crazy sexy than other ads out there – I loved it, despite whatever anyone else thought.

“It was based on a really hot George Michael video and yes, it was sexy, but then you have to think about what you’re doing. It was for my fragrance and I believe a wonderful fragrance brings out the sex appeal in a woman.
For those who don't know, the singer is a big fan of hair-pieces (and not necessarily her own). As a matter of fact, there are too few occasions when she was spotted with her real hair and some of the photos taken then by the paparazzi did not make it into the press.
